La salute passa dalle strade

Nel mondo ogni anno muoiono 1,25 milioni di persone per gli incidenti stradali. In un terzo dei casi la colpa è della velocità eccessiva.



Lo afferma un rapporto pubblicato dall'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità (Oms), secondo cui gli incidenti stradali sono la causa numero uno di morte tra le persone di 15-29 anni. 




Basterebbe una riduzione del 5% della velocità media, sottolineano gli esperti dell'Oms, per far calare del 30% le morti sulla strada.
