L’impatto della crisi finanziaria sui diritti umani

Tra le gravi conseguenze dell'attuale crisi finanziaria, c’è anche un drammatico impatto sulle persone in termini di realizzazione e godimento dei diritti umani. Per questo alcune importanti ONG europee hanno adottato una nuova strategia (di cui un punto di partenza significativo è il Rapporto UNDP sullo sviluppo umano del 2000 dedicato ai diritti umani) finalizzata ad unire diritti umani e sviluppo in una incisiva alleanza (human rights based approach to development).
