Malattia oppure no?

Negli ultimi 150 anni la medicina ha rivoluzionato il mondo: migliaia di malattie sono state scoperte, studiate, analizzate e spesso curate o rese curabili. Tuttavia in alcuni casi la storia e il progresso sembrano fare il percorso contrario, eliminando alcune malattie dai libri. Accade, specialmente, in psichiatria. Ed è quello che è successo a malattie come la lunaticità, l'isteria (maschile e femminile), l'infermità "morale”, la personalità inadeguata, persino l'omosessualità e l'autoerotismo.
